Who Participates in the Piano Home Recital?
All of students of MEA Piano Studio.
What is the Piano Home Recital?
It is a piano recital that student do in their homes. Students play 3 or more songs of their choice for family (and friends if they wish to invite them). Students also have to create a recital program, decide whether to have refreshments, and introduce themselves and their pieces. So students get to work on public speaking skills, planning\organizing skills, artistic skills, and probably a few other things.
Where Does this Take Place?
At the student’s home.
Why is this Important?
First, it gives parents the chance to enjoy the the results of “dragging” their kid to piano lessons each week. And as the years past, they can see their child’s progress. Their songs will become harder, their rhythm will get better, and their stage presence will continue to improve. Second, it gives students a chance to perform where they are the spotlight for the entire performance. And third, students can share the music with friends and family.
When is the Piano Home Recital?
Sometime in the fall. Students get to choose a day and time that is convenient for them.
